WHAT WE DO

CL Productions supports creators. Working with Greek and international filmmakers we explore the horizons of the creative expression and make feature films and documentaries that cover a variety of subjects and expressive investigations.

        

On the following pictures you can see a whole village build on the bed of the Kerkini artificial lake (Serres, North Greece), flooded afterwards with water for the purposes of shooting the feature film The Weeping Meadow, directed by Theo Angelopoulos.

On the BEFORE picture you can see the bed of the artificial lake when the dam is open and the lake is empty. On the AFTER pictures that follow you see the village that CL Productions builded from scratch.

On the following picture you see the village flooded with water when the dam was closed during the shooting of the feature film The Weeping Meadow, directed by Theo Angelopoulos.

This is the greatest scenery ever made in Greece and one of the greatest in Europe.
