Nikos Anagnostopoulos
Born in Elatia, Greece in 1958. Graduated from the Stavrakos Film School in 1983. He is first and foremost a documentary filmmaker with subjects that refer to contemporary folk tradition as well as basic sectors of the broader Greek civilization. From 1979 to 1981 he worked as a journalist (as artistic and parliamentary reporter) and taught film directing and film history at seminars of the European Community Fund. He has directed more than 50 films.
